Give your wardrobe a second life and learn how to creatively rework garments with practical, hands-on skills in visible mending, repair, and redesign.
This workshop is designed to teach foundational techniques you can apply to repair or reimagine clothing you already own - or special pieces you find second hand.
Whether you’re dealing with something ill-fitting, damaged, or just dated, we’ll show you how to approach it with a creative eye.
What to Expect
This class will introduce you to a range of re-fashioning and repair techniques. Rather than focusing on completing a single project during the class, you’ll be guided through a number of techniques, and shown how each can be used in different scenarios.
You’ll then have the opportunity to try one or more of these techniques hands-on during the session.
This format allows you to:
Learn adaptable skills for reworking and mending garments
Practice in a supported, creative environment
Leave with the confidence to apply techniques to your own projects at home
If you'd prefer guidance when applying these skills to a specific project, our Open Class is the perfect follow-on - a flexible session where you can work on personal projects with support.
