What happens if the class I booked is cancelled?

If we need to cancel a class due to any unforeseen issues, you will be entitled to a full refund. You will be offered the option to receive a refund or re-book at another date.

What happens if I can’t attend the class that I booked?

If you cancel:

  • Seven days or more in advance of the scheduled class, you will receive a full refund or opportunity to book a future date.

  • Seven to four business days in advance of the scheduled class, you will receive an 80% refund of the price you paid. If there is a place available for the same class at a later date, you can join for 80% of the class fee. If there is a different class you would like to join, we can provide you with a code to use 20% of the original class fee as a discount. This offer will be available for 90 days from original purchase date.

  • Three business days to 24 hours in advance of the scheduled class, you will receive a 50% refund.

  • Less than 24 hours or if you don’t inform us that you cannot attend the class you have booked, unfortunately you will not receive a refund.

Do I need to know how to sew well to participate in a pattern making class?

While it will help with how quickly you can get through the class tasks, you don’t need to be able to sew well to participate in the class. We will offer support with using sewing machines where needed.

Do I need to bring my own sewing machine to classes that include sewing?

It would be very helpful to bring your own, if you have one, but we will offer the use of a sewing machine at the time of booking the class.

Are any of your classes available online?

At this point, no.
